#297 - Jay Collins - Green Beret and Florida State Senator

This week on the Black Rifle Coffee Podcast Florida State Senator and Green Beret Jay Collin’s joins Evan Hafer in the studio. Jarrid “Jay” Collins is a highly-decorated Army Special Forces combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient with over two decades of service. 

Together Jay and Evan talk about his military service, being shot in the arm and having to perform surgery on himself in the field of battle and being hit by a mortar round that caused injuries leading to the amputation of his leg. Even after his injuries he continued to requalify as a Green Beret and continue to serve his community and country to this day.
